Oman Energy Storage Power Station Project
On July 5, 2025, a joint venture composed of China Energy Construction China Power Engineering International, East China Electric Power Design Institute and Hunan Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd. officially signed an early working agreement with Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) in Oman for the early work of the Ibri 3 photovoltaic energy storage power station project in Oman, marking the official entry of this major new energy project into the performance stage. Osaka, Japan – Panasonic Holdings Corporation (Panasonic HD) today announced that it has developed the prototype of the building integrated Perovskite photovoltaics glass, and started the long-term implementation demonstration project including technical tests lasting more than a year at the newly constructed model house “Future Co-Creation FINECOURT III” in the Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town (Fujisawa SST), Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Dominica 2025 Energy Storage Project
Scheduled for completion in the second half of 2025, the facility, located in Laudat, a valley surrounding the capital, will harness the country’s volcanic potential, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and provide clean and stable energy to approximately 23,000 homes, confirmed the Dominica Geothermal Development Company, a public-private partnership carrying out the project.
